Happy Valentine's Day!
I made some fudge this year for Valentine's Day. Just couldn't think of anything creative to give my husband... so I thought why not make it a treat.
The recipe comes from a friend - it's very simple though a bit messy simply because working with fudge is messy.
Now, it's not like this fudge can be called a healthy meal - let me just put that out there... But at least there is not any junk in this one other than loads of sugar. Besides... you gotta live a little! The recipe is below.
1 cup of honey and 1 cup of extra virgin coconut oil melted and blended in a blender.
Add 1 cup of simple cocoa powder. Blend.
Pour into a bowl and mix with 1 cup of coconut shreds and 1 cup of chopped almonds. Mix.
Pour into a greased 7x11 glass pan and refrigerate till it sets. Enough for a small army. Or maybe a medium sized one.
